Cancellation and refunds

These cancellation arrangements apply to my CV packages, including the consultation. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Your 14-day cancellation right

If you buy a CV package online as a consumer, you generally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. If you cancel during that period before I have started work, I will refund 100% of your payment.

If you want me to start sooner

I will only start supplying the service during the 14-day cancellation period if you expressly ask me to. If you then cancel during that period, I will only deduct a fair, proportionate amount for the service already supplied, where the law permits. I will refund the balance and explain any deduction.

If I fully complete the service during that period, your cancellation right ends only if you expressly requested the early start and acknowledged beforehand that you would lose that right once the service was fully performed. Completing the consultation alone does not mean the whole CV package has been completed.

After the cancellation period

If you cancel after the statutory cancellation period, I will refund the balance after a fair deduction for work already completed and any reasonable, evidenced cancellation loss, where legally permitted. I will explain how the deduction was calculated and will not count the same cost twice.

Changing or missing your consultation

If you need to change your consultation time, please let me know as soon as possible.

A late cancellation or missed consultation does not automatically mean you lose the entire CV package payment. Any separate appointment charge must be agreed with you beforehand, be reasonable and justified, and must not limit your statutory cancellation rights.

How to cancel

Email libby@libbycrossland.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, your name and the package you purchased. You can also write to my trading address below. You do not need to give a reason or use a particular form to exercise your statutory cancellation right.

For a statutory cancellation, any refund due will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after I am informed of your decision, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee.
